What types of exams can I take?
365 Financial Analyst offers three types of exams: practice, course, and career track.
Practice Exams – These exams are optional, case-based, and timed, and you may retake them multiple times. They test your theoretical and practical knowledge on a specific topic to prepare you for the course exam. Courses contain a different number of practice exams—one for each section. Some of them may require you to download a worksheet or a dataset. Please note that you won’t receive a certificate for successfully completing practice exams; they are just a way for you to check what you’ve learned along the way.
Course Exams – These exams are case-based, timed, and accessible only to paid subscribers. You need a 60% score to pass the exam and receive a certificate. Please note that you are not required to complete all course lessons before your first attempt. You can retake the course exams an unlimited number of times, but you must watch at least 30 minutes of course-specific video content before every following attempt. Finally, note that all questions must be completed in one sitting, and you cannot quit without receiving an evaluation. To take a course exam, go to Exams > Course Exams > Start Exam.
Career Track Exams – These exams are case-based and timed. You need a 60% score to pass the exam and receive a certificate. Career track exams are accessible to all enrolled students that have passed the nine mandatory course exams in the track. If you do not pass on their first attempt, you can retake the exam. You simply have to watch at least 30 minutes of the content included in any of the seven required courses and two electives in the track to unlock the second attempt. If you fail again, the exam will remain locked for three months before you can retake it. If needed, you’ll get a fourth and last attempt after another three months. Keep in mind that case studies and questions will differ among exams.
We believe our extensive course materials lay a solid foundation of knowledge, and we currently have no score improvement option for career track exams. Once you achieve 60% or above, your score becomes unchangeable. So, make sure you feel confident in your skills before clicking on the “Start Exam” button. Be aware that exam questions must be completed in one sitting and you cannot quit without receiving an evaluation. To take a career track exam, go to Exams > Career Track Exams > Start Exam.
