Does Tableau distinguish between Model X and Model S in the problem ?

in Introduction to Tableau / Creating a custom field and adding calculations to a table

While calculating Revenue, we multiplied Number of records with Prices. Does Tableau distinguish different prices for different models (S & X) (eg: month 3 , 2016). Also some car were sold at different prices for the same model (X).
