Resolved: Calculating Variance

If we want to calculate the variance through a graph do we have to order the list?
I tried to solve it in Excell and even though I got the correct answers by applying the skew formula it didn't go as expected when making the graph (both the graphs showed left skewness). Can somebody help me figure out why this is? (What I did do wrong making the graphs) - I did order the list to do so, was that the issue?

Thank you in advance :)

Answering your first question- no we don't have to order the list for calculating variance.
Whether the data is ordered or not the data is the same. That's why both graphs will show left skewness.

You probably, created the bar graph, which will not show you correct results.

Because in case of skewness, we are talking about the frequency (Remember that tutor said, skewness shows that where most of the data located). which means we have to draw a histgram for that.

Hope this helped you.
