Advice needed: Balancing Excel and Python in Data Science training

Sir, I am enrolled in the Data Science Career Track. Recently, I learned Python, NumPy, and Pandas. I want to ask you: is it a right choice to skip Excel practice on my path to becoming a data scientist? I want to do this because I want to complete the career track as fast as possible; however, I already know all the basics of Excel. Thanks, Muhammad Umar.
