Won't better way to represent rounded interval be [lower; upper )?

While the method represented in the excel solution file is correct, there are no exact intervals. The first one is larger than the others. However, when we round up the intervals, isn't a better way of representation [ ) ? All the intervals will be equal and under the same logic.
