Why isnt INDEX and MATCH used?

in Introduction to Excel / Using Lookup Functions (Vlookup) to Fill the Database Sheet

In the previous section of the video series (Part 3), the drawback of VLOOKUP and the advantages of using INDEX and MATCH over VLOOKUP function was highlighted. However, in the current video, VLOOKUP is still used even though its drawback exists in this problem.

Hi Naseeba,

In some situations, it doesn't make a difference, which one of the two you'll use. And since VLOOKUP is simpler, I used VLOOKUP.
