Understanding population- Confidence intervals
There was reference to dependent and independent populations. An example of a dependent population was couples. I don't understand what we mean by this.
Do we mean the male is in one population and the female is in another? Or do we mean a variable for one person is related to a variable for another? In essence is the definition of a population the set of units of observation or the set of variables? Thank you!
