class boundaries and intervals

Is it better to define the class boundaries/intervals as 0.5 - 20.5, 20.5 - 40.5, 40.5 - 60.5 to make it more accurate? Some books recommend this but I did not clearly follow the advantage of doing this. An explanation would be highly appreciated.

Hi Amit,

The only importance of class boundaries I could think of is when you're trying to create a grouped frequency table with discrete class limits, but you have continuous data.
