Resolved: Please check the example of my understanding if I am correct?

H0 > the fact you want to reject, H1 > the fact you want to approve. Is it like this?
For example, someone says me that the average women height is 1.65 cm. And I want to prove that the average height for women is lower than that.
So, my H0 is average women height is >= 1.65 cm, and my H1 is average women height is < 1.65 cm. Is my understanding correct here?

but according to the salary question in this lecture, the H0 is exactly the statement you make, because it carries a "="(equal sign) in your statement.

That is,

H0 is "the average women height is 1.65 cm"

H1 is  "the average women height is not equal to 1.65 cm"

as presented in the video!?

Thanks!

It's incorrect.
what explained by CHUN HSIEN TSENG is the correct one.

You can either check for:
1. H0: average height = 1.65 m || H1: average height != 1.65 m

or

2. H0: average height > 1.65 m || H1: average height < 1.65 m

btw, pay attention to the unit of measurement too. lol
