Resolved: levels of measurement(section 2)
Under Descriptive statistics fundamentals there is a chapter(2) named levels of measurement, timestamp 0.33 you said nominal data can not be ordered and give example of seasons. So, rainy season cannot be come after winter it maintain order, so my question is why does season is consider nominal data?...thanks

thanks for reaching out! Apologies for the delayed response.
Though there is some chronological way in which season follow after one another, we cannot say that one is better than the other. For instance winter cannot have a higher score than summer, they are equally seasons, so they cannot be ordinal. Which means that they are nominal, as we can agree that they are not quantitative data
