Resolved: Issues with number stored as text
Hi, I am facing this issue whereby in the default file, for the code column (B) the number is stored as text and I am unable to execute index & match. Can you please advise for a solution?

Yes, a very easy solution is to Copy and Paste and use Paste Special Values to obtain numbers. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your response. The solution you proposed did not work with my version of Excel, even after pasting special values, there was still an error as the numbers were still stored as text. It only worked after I manually overwrite the "Trace Error" by converting the text format to number format.
