How did you quickly select the B column around 50 seconds?

I clicked the first cell for the index array in the Index Match function and tried the ctrl + down arrow and shift + ctrl + down arrow shortcuts. They didn't work so I had to drag my selection with the mouse. That will take longer and I might let go of the button with a longer sheet (meaning I have to select the cells again) so how do I make the selection quicker like in this lesson?

Hi Dylan,
Good to hear from you.
Perhaps on your computer to use shortcuts with Ctrl, you need to press the Fn button first. I realize that's a bit annoying. Probably there's a way to change this setting in the computer's settings somewhere outside of Excel.
Best,
Ned

Thanks, I'll try that. The strange thing is that I can use these shortcuts when I am 'just' selecting cells but when I select cells to be part of a formula the shortcuts don't work so I have to select them with the mouse.

That's very strange indeed. I don't believe I've seen this before..
