How can I easily select a column from entire dataset to place in PivotTable Area?
Here's I have problem. When I want to do pivot a dataset in excel I get into confusion that which column(s) have to place into COLUMNS/ROWS/VALUES/FILTER in the PivotTable Fields. How can I easily select a column from entire dataset which will go to right (COLUMNS/ROWS/VALUES/FILTER) place in PivotTable Area? Thank you.

Hello,
Please think in terms of the table you would like to create. If you visualize clearly the table itself, then you will have a much easier time when creating it. Think about what you want to see and then start building it.

First, you should visualize your report's look and then drag or assign your Pivot Toablefields by Rows, Columns, Values, and Filters.
