AVERAGEIF is a function that calculates the arithmetic mean of an array of numbers provided that a specified condition has been satisfied. The function has 3 arguments: ‘range’, ‘criteria’, and ‘average range’. The first one, ‘range’ is where we want to check if the second argument ‘criteria’ is satisfied. Whenever this condition is satisfied AVERAGEIF will consider the respective cell located in the ‘average range’.
