Resolved: Clarification on Net Sales and Net Revenue
Hi,
Based on the prior explanation, we get Gross Revenue, Net Revenue, Gross Profit then, suddenly Net Sales is introduced.
After a quick search, I found that net sales = net revenue. Is it correct in this course's context?
additionally, I'm not aware of any explanation regarding those two terms which can confuse beginner in finance/accounting world.

Hi David,
Yes, in this context, you are correct in saying that net revenue = net sales.
If I were to be more pedantic, while net sales refers to amount collected from just the sales of goods, net revenue can be a little broader to include amounts collected in sales as well as from financial investments (interest, dividends etc.)
Thanks,
Sudhir
