I don't think this is available on Mac unfortunately.

There's a tab called Automate on the Mac version. It gives you the option to "Record Actions" and "New Script". Wondering if this is the same? If not, under the Tools menu, you can still get to the Macros menu to record a new macro. Not sure if that's helpful but that's what I found when looking around for these options on mine 😅
Confirming that it looks like "Record Actions" is automating like a macro.
