Right click on Ribbon does not show the drop down for me to select Customize Ribbon.
I am using a Office 365 on a Macbook pro

for future mac users , I am using excel on 2017 macbook and the way to get the developer ribbon:
click the excel tab on the top screen ribbon
choose prefrences
choose ribbon and toolbar
then click on developer from the main tab column
click save
