No need to calculate the Standard Error?
I'm confused, in past exercises we were instructed to calculate the Standard Error of the dataset along with the Mean. For this exercise, we were instructed to calculate the Mean and Standard Deviation of the dataset only. Why were we not instructed to calculate the Standard Error in this exercise?

Hi Dylan,
as much as he had not said it, we had calculated it. in the last part of the formula, he used Sd/SQRT (n).... which is actually the standard error
not that the formula is a little bit modified, with new terms introduced. maybe the name "standard error" changed, but the way of calculating it is still same.
initially it was:
σ/√n where σ is the STDEV of the sample
but now we have used:
Sd/√n where Sd is the STDEV of the difference
