Multiple issues in following along with this lesson

I am using the 'before' file in the course notes. When I link to a cell in the pivot table all that shows up in the formula bar is =Pivot! not =GetPivotData as in the lesson. I tried copying and pasting from C6 to D6 and got a #REF! error in D6. I tried dragging C6 to D6 and got the same error. I tried copying and pasting the formula in D6 from the 'after' file to the 'before' file and got the same error. Finally, I tried typing the formula from the 'after' file to the 'before' file and still got the #REF! error. I'm not sure what to do anymore.
