I think these questions would be more qualitative if they first included a statement.

You want to check if your height >= the average height in class.

Is the statement that my height is greater than the average height? Or is the statement that my height is less than the average height and I want to prove my classmates otherwise?

I get the concept of Null vs. Alternative hypothesis but still got the questions wrong because the questions are unclear.
