Custom Cell Formatting

Is there a way for us to save the custom cell styles to excel so that they will always be available on all new workbooks.  I can merge the styles from an old workbook, but that would mean I have to open two workbooks every time, which seems like we shouldn't have too..

Hi David,

That's a great observation. I believe that the answer is no. In their article about saving cell styles Microsoft have not described how you can save a cell style for all workbooks (create a new cell style that appears by default ). So, this makes me think that there isn't a way to do it.
