Resolved: Thinking of signing up to your FinancialAnalyst course as well!

I am currently a student in your 365 Data Science curriculum, and to be honest, I am thoroughly enjoying it to the extend that I am thinking of signing up to your 365FinancialAnalyst course as well...However, I have few issues that I would extremely appeciate your effort to clear the air around them...Here are they:

1. How useful is your FinancialAnalyst course for someone who has no background in Economics, Finance or Business whatsoever?

2. Would both my Data Scientist career track as well as a career track certificate in one of the track of your FinancialAnalyst curriculum help me get a job in finance, considering point number one?

3. How well will these tracks equip me with the necessary knowledge to sail on my own through self learning in the domains of business, finance and economics? I mean, would it be helpful to prep me, even to some limited extent, for certfifications such as CPA or CFA???

I know that these titles have their own requirements of sorts, and that they are a completely different league of their own...However, I am still interested to know about how well your courses aid me to reach such a level even though I might not qualify to set the exam in the first place...

Thank you in advance for your kind response, and sorry for any inconvenience...

Best regards,

Ahmed

I am also a learner in this platform (but I have solid background in Actuarial Math and Financial Math).  To be honest, you can learn well in Economics and Finance courses with zero knowledge at 365platform.  If you could complete the Financial Analyst track and the Investment Analyst track, you are well equipped with the knowledge to pass CFA Paper 1.  Of course, you need to practice with the questions directly from the CFA platform later, so as to get familiar with the CFA exam format.

Thanks alot for your reply...GREAT to know that those two tracks are a good start for CFA Level I. Nevertheless, I would extremely appreciate knowing whether I would qualify to sit the exam CFA exam with no prior experience in the domain of finance, nor an official qualifcation in the domain.

Moreover, from your experience, how do you think I should prep for level II and Level III? Do you have any suggested textbooks, study material, courses I shoudl follow?

I know that's abit too early for such questions...Nonetheless, I am just interested to know...

For CFA Level II and III, the CFA platform has study packages for you to purchase.  As far as I remembered, you can get some free study notes from their platform.

Well, it is not appropriate to provide information of another platform here, but you can look into the CFA official website if you decide you take the CPA exams.

Anyway, good luck on your future study.
