Resolved: Power BI maps evolution through time

This is just a curios question. I'm finishing the Power BI course and i was wondering if it's possible to show the change in a map through time. A simple example to clarify my question; I'm doing a presentation on how the population of Argentina changed for the last 10 years, so i have databases with the population from all the provinces. Can i do a map in Power BI where you can press a button and see how the bubble or circule from each province gets bigger through time?
I was wondering this because in excel you can do this, and I thought that maybe it would be possible in Power BI

Hi Nadina,

Excellent question, the map itself does not provide such functionality, however I came up with another solution. It involves writing a bit of DAX and having a slicer with the years. So you will have the slicer with the different years 2011, 2012, etc. Then you will build a measure that sums the population of Argentina inside and filters the year to be less than or equal to the slicer selection. What the calculation will do is sum the population of Argentina up until the selected year so if you select 2017 it will be the sum of all population from 2011 until 2017 inclusive, then if you select 2018, 2018 will also be included and this is how the bubbles will become bigger.
