Calculation error
the LEFT([period, 4]) is reading error. the TESLA table provided does not give period as string but as integer. I can't move beyond this point or follow this course because of the error.

This is a bit strange. Did you use the Data Interpreter at the beginning of the exercise, please?

You can go to data source, right click on Period and change Data type to String and hit oky. And Try to create Year column using Calculated Field. It will surely work.
